Oooops..
For all those, who made the mistake of reading my last blog, please read this one as well. Supposedly, the online software that i mentioned in my previous blog will only file the resident tax form (1040EZ). International students have to file 1040NR-EZ. I dont know what difference this makes, but technically 1040NR-EZ is the correct form for international students. But hey, I filed 1040EZ last year and I filed 1040EZ this year as well, AND I have got a mail which says that my e-file has been accepted by IRS. So....

Hey...If you didnt realize the IRS is knocking your door!! ;-)
Thanks Karthik for sharing the info. I think you'll be alright with the 1040EZ. Thanks for your next recommendation (http://www.esmarttax.com/) which helped me fill up my Missouri Tax Form. I did it there and then copied the values into my Paper form. Had to file a Non Resident Form too, which the site didn't tell me about, but the official Missouri site was pretty clear about what I had to fill up.
So like all things in life, these tools are great, just cross check things with the official information sites and you'll be able to file 2 state taxes on paper in a day! I'm on a roll :)
Before this s/w calculated my Missouri tax, i was cursing myself for working there! :)
Thanks Nat.. some ppl prefer to do it the right way, others prefer a faster refund.. hehe ;)
International Students F1,J1 Visa holders have to file both " 1040NR-EZ or 1040NR and Form 8843"
In my university, they recommended us to use http://www.VisaTaxes.com
I believe they have a tax forum at http://forum.VisaTaxes.com
Hope this helps!
Hey, I was blog hopping and reached your blog. Well I made the mistake of filing EZ this year instead of NR-EZ. Apparently there isn't much of a problem that IRS will cause for you now. But when you want to take a huge loan like when you buy a house and stuff, they will dig your records and cause a hell a lot of trouble. But it is not an unmanageable situation, so you can worry about it when you reach that stage. :)

Thanks Archana.. I was pondering if i should get it rectified, now I wont :).. BTW, Welcome to my blog :)
